It also discloses amorphous 9-deoxo-6-deoxy-6, 9-epoxy-9, 9a-didehydro-9a-aza-9a-homoerythromycin A of Formula (IV) and its process for preparation, which is an useful intermediate for preparing Azithromycin monohydrate.
