A plate (10) for heat exchange has a pattern of irregularity having protrusions and recesses formed on one surface of a plate. The protrusion has a top protrusion portion (11) and an intermediate protrusion portion (12), which extends from it and has the same shape as a portion formed on another surface so as to correspond to the intermediate protrusion portion formed on the one surface. The recess has a bottom recess portion (13) and an intermediate recess portion (14), which extends from it and has the same shape as a portion formed on the other surface so as to correspond to the intermediate recess portion formed on the one surface.
