A power transmission for motorcycles includes a gear-shifting mechanism, a plate clutch, a centrifugal clutch, a transmission shaft, and a power driver. The transmission shaft includes a gear-shifting lever and a clutch lever, wherein the clutch lever is pivotally connected with the plate clutch, the gear-shifting lever and the gear-shifting mechanism are pivotally connected with each other, and the power driver is pivotally connected with the transmission shaft for driving the latter. Therefore, a motorcyclist needs only to control the power driver to drive the transmission shaft, and, through driving the transmission, further to manipulate the clutch lever and the gear-shifting lever so as to control directly the plate clutch free from coupling the first shaft and to drive the gear-shifting mechanism for gearshift. As such, the motorcyclist can readily accomplish the gearshift with nothing but a simple manipulation, rather than a complicated one requiring cooperation of hands and feet.
