The present invention relates to a climbing device and in particular to a ladder platform hybrid which is adapted with two ladder arrangements (12, 14) each adjoining one another and movable relative to each other, whereby in accordance with the invention at least a pair of first beams can be fixed on the pair of second beams allocated to the former by means of an adjustable setting means on the latter pair in each one of the two directions along the longitudinal direction of the allocated pair of first beams (12) by respective locking means (16a, 16b).
