: INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE INTAKE PRESSURE DETECTING DEVICE
Application 1261/KOLNP/2004 published 2006-05-05, filed 2004-08-30
An internal combustion engine (18) comprises an intake pipe (34) extending from an internal combustion engine main body (19) and having its inner intake passageway (33) communicating with an intake passageway (27) formed in the internal combustion engine main body (19), a fuel feed means (36) for feeding fuel to the internal combustion engine main body (19), an intake air negative pressure sensor (43) for detecting the intake air negative pressure (P) in the intake passageway (33) of the intake pipe (34), and a controller (44) for controlling the feed rate of fuel fed to the internal combustion engine main body (19) by the fuel feed means (36) on the basis of the detection signal from the intake air negative pressure sensor (43). It is arranged that the intake air negative pressure sensor (43) detects the intake air negative pressure (P) at the downstream end (42) of the intake passageway (33) of the intake pipe (34). According to the intake air negative pressure sensor (43), the value of the intake air negative pressure (P) in the intake passageway (27) in the internal combustion engine main body (19) is detected more nearly correctly.
