An oxygen analyzer is provided including a shield probe assembly. An inner probe tube resides within the shield probe assembly. Also included is a heater assembly that is mounted to an end of the inner probe tube and situated within the shield probe assembly. A tubular sensor mechanism is removably secured within the heater assembly. A thermocouple-conductor assembly is positioned within the inner probe tube.
