ELECTRONIC CONTROLLED COLD STARTING THROUGH PILOT SYSTEM FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE
Application 2299/CHE/2006 published 2008-08-08, filed 2006-12-12
An electronic controlled device for cold starting through pilot system of a motor vehicle which comprises first and second solenoids. The first solenoid connects the air passage to the manifold of the vehicle and the second solenoid connects the air passage to the pilot system of the carburetor of the vehicle. An electronic controller causes the second solenoid to restrict/cut off the air passage to the said pilot system thus causing more amount of fuel supply to the engine of the vehicle through the pilot system. The controller also simultaneously causes the first solenoid to uncover me air passage to me manifold. The amount of air supply to the pilot system and the manifold is regulated by the said controller to optimise such air supply. The said solenoids are energised through the ignition switch of the vehicle. The controller incorporates a timer for restoring the air-fuel mixture after a predetermined interval of time.
