:An internal bleeding roller for use in a sugarcane crushing machine is disclosed. The roller comprises a shaft and a roller body in two parts, as upper shell and sleeve adapted to be mounted on said shaft, said body having a sleeve and shell spaced apart and fitted to each other. The sleeve has an annular bore adapted to be fitted to said shaft and an outer wall. The shell has an annular bore defining an inner wall, said bore adapted to be fitter to said sleeve and an outer wall. The outer wall of shell has a plurality of circumferential grooves having perforations. Plurality of passages extend from the perforations into the body of the shell. The passages open on the inner wall of the shell. Slanting channels are defined on the outer on the wall of the sleeve. Nozzles are fitted in the passages.
