A fibre compactor comprising a cylindrical body, a perforated conical filter being perforated with fine holes and fitted in the central portion of the cylindrical body, an inlet and outlet for transport of air within and outside the cylindrical body, a taper screw being fitted inside the conical filter intended to run at a very low speed through a gear box, the said gear box being fitted at the top of the device such that the cotton is compressed between the screw and bottom steel strips and on increase of sufficient pressure the steel strips bend outwards and allow the cotton lint to fall in lump and once cotton is ejected the said steel plate moves upward and close the bottom.
