A lubrication device of an engine, wherein a transmission (13) having a main shaft (14) and a drive shaft (15) with a plurality of transmission gears is installed in a split crankcase divided into right and left case parts, fixing bolts (60) for the right and left case parts are inserted and positioned near the main shaft (14) or the drive shaft (15) parallel with the shafts, right and left boss parts (60c) having bolt holes (60a) for inserting the fixing bolts (60) for the right and left cases (2b, 2a) therein are extended in tubular shape and allowed to opposingly abut on each other, spaces between the internal surfaces of the bolt holes for the right and left boss parts (60c) and the external surfaces of the fixing bolts are formed in lubrication oil passages (15a), one ends of the lubrication oil passages (15a) are connected to a lubrication oil supply source, and lubrication oil supply holes (60b) directed to the transmission gears of the transmission are branched from the lubrication oil passages and formed in the boss parts (60c).
