PROCESS FOR WINDING THE SPUN YARN ONTO THE BOBBIN HOLDER AND DEVICE THEREFOR

Application 865/CAL/1999 published 2005-12-23, filed 1999-10-26
The invention relates to a process and device for winding the spun yarn onto a bobbin bolder (10) from package (9) deposited on the inner wall (8) of the spinning centrifuge (4) of a pot spinning machine. The bobbin holder (10) is introduced for this purpose into the spinning centrifuge (4). By lowering the bobbin holder (10) over the mouth of the thread guide tube (6), the thread running between the thread guide tube (6) and the inner wall (8) of the spinning centrifuge (4), is taken up by a slot (13) in the foot of the bobbin holder and initiates the winding process. At this stage, a spinning thread residue (15) gets formed between the drafting device (1) and the foot of the bobbin holder. In order to avoid interference likely to be caused by the free end of this spinning thread residue (15), the spinning thread residue (15) is separated from the yarn package (30) and the bobbin holder (10) by a separation device, and then removed by suction extraction.
