Application IN/PCT/2001/00946 published 2005-11-11, filed 2001-09-12
The system eliminates the dead spot and enables the user to conserve energy during each stroke due to an increase in stroke power and efficiency. It is comprised of a pair of crank arms (112L, 112R) having an obtuse configuration. Each crank includes a spindle opening (112LB, 112RB) located at the middle part of the crank connected to a spindle (14), a brace opening located at one distal end, and a pedal opening located at the end opposite the brace opening for receiving a pedal (20L, 20R). A chainring brace (16) is mounted on the spindle (14) and includes a post (16A) mounted within the right crank brace opening. A brace (18) is also mounted on the spindle (14) and includes a post (18A) mounted within the left crank brace opening. (FIG.) 1
