A combination for wet shaving razor, said combination comprising a wet shaving razor (12) having a handle (14) for receiving a cartridge (16), a base member (18) with engagement structure (28), said base member (18) having platform support structure (34) and a platform member (20) that is supported on said platform support structure (34), characterised in that said platform member (20) is secured to said base member (18) and is located behind at least part of said razor (12) when said razor (12) is held by said engagement structure (28), in that said platform support structure (34) supports said platform member (20) at a longitudinal end of said platform member (20) and in that a lip surface (36) formed on base member (18) supports said platform member (20) at an opposite longitudinal end, and in that said platform member (20) is located forward and rearward of said engagement structure (28) and said platform member (20) comprises a first portion (22) underlying a major portion of said handle (14) when said razor (12) is held by said engagement structure (28).
