A bonding/chemical processing composition from rice straw, which is adapted for variety of end use applications in various industries and other applications as a bonding chemical for variety of industrial purposes. Importantly the multi-purpose bonding composition and its process of manufacture is environment friendly and can be obtained without any discharge of harmful effluents wherein the discharge of polluted water will be zero. Importantly the invention while providing for favourable use of rice straw on one hand achieves higher concentration of cooked black liquor of 14%-18% in a commercially usable bonding / chemical processing composition 5-7% cooked black liquor by effective filtration, counter-washing and re-cycling of the cooked black liquor in the system involving the use of rice straw thereby favouring achieving zero discharge.
