SPINNING MACHINE INSTALLATION

Application 305/KOL/2005 published 2006-11-24, filed 2005-04-12
A spinning machine installation comprises a plurality of spinning positions generating yarn bobbins, also comprising peg trays having transport discs and take-up pegs for carrying away the yarn bobbins and for feeding empty tubes for the yarn bobbins to be produced. The spinning positions are served collectively by one doffer, which removes the empty tubes from the take-up pegs of the peg trays, exchanges the yarn bobbins for the empty tubes and transfers the yarn bobbins to the take-up pegs of the peg trays. The doffing process is supported by auxiliary take-up pegs, which temporarily take up yarn bobbins or empty tubes. In the present invention, each auxiliary take-up peg is arranged on its own carrying component, which can be placed in a releasable way on two adjacent transporting discs of two peg trays. (FIG.1)
