[Resolution] A flame retardant for mesh sheets comprising 1.5 to 15 wt% of red phosphorus and 10 to 70 parts by weight of an ammonium polyphosphate compound based on 100 parts by weight of the solid content of an aqueous solution of a polyolefin resin having a resin solid content of 2.0 to 45 wt% and a flameproof mesh sheet treated with this flame retardant.
