INVENTION OF UNBREAKABLE PLASTIC WATER TAPS.
Application 602/CHE/2006 published 2006-05-19, filed 2006-03-31
The present invention relates to the alteration of the design of the spindle part of the Tap to give extended life even on application of excess load on the Head or rough handling conditions. Normally in day today in all industrial, commercial and household activities involve the control of the fluid flow. The Fluid flow is controlled using taps, these taps under heavy stress or rough operating conditions, applying excess pressure or threading even after the closing of the tap to ensure zero leakage cause the breakage of the Bonnet, Spindle and Head thereby leading to the failure of the entire system. To overcome these drawback and to give sustained life to the parts of the tap, the spindle parts namely the Male and Female part is threaded in such a way to have excess clearance allowing the external load not to affect the spindle. Thereby avoiding the chances of breakage of the Head, Bonnet and Body of the tap to give extended life on the above said parts of the tap.
