PISTON MECHANISM PROVIDED WITH DIVERGENT PISTONS
Application 996/MUMNP/2005 published 2006-05-19, filed 2005-09-12
The invention relates to mechanical engineering, in particular to piston machines. The inventive piston mechanisms consists of a case housing (4), a crank shaft (7) provided with three crank pins (48, 50, 51, a cylinder (1) comprising divergent pistons (5, 6) limiting working chambers (10, 11, 12, 13) which are provided with input (14) and output (15) holes, and two linking elements (27, 28), one of which interacts with the middle crank pin (48), the other lining element interacting with two side crank pins (50, 51). Guiding channels (16, 17) are embodied in the body of the cylinder (1) and comprise rods (19, 20) which are arranged in alternate sequence and whose bases are fixed to one or another alternate linking element in such a way that two synchronous rod groups are formed. Said guiding channels (16, 17) are provided with through slots (18) arranged on the working surface of the cylinder and extended into the cavity thereof in such a way that the faces (21) of the rods of the synchronous groups which are oriented towards the cylinder cavity form the movable areas of the working surface thereof. The pistons (5, 6) are fixed alternatively and at a distance with respect to each other to the side faces (21) of rods of one or another synchronous group by the perimeters thereof, thereby forming two movable and inserted into each other rigid frames which consist of linking element-synchronous group of rods-pistons and are movable in the opposite directions. The inventive structural design makes it possible to accommodate several divergent pistons (5, 6) in such a way that the working chambers (10, 11, 12, 13) are formed therebetween and different strokes of independent working cycles are carried out in said working chambers.
