Application 6/MUM/2000 published 2006-06-16, filed 2000-01-03
This invention relates to removal of air entrapped at points of change of gradient of pipelines of Life-Irrigation schemes by using theory of differential pressure between two connected points. In the conventional method, asirvents of verticle pipes with/without airvalves are provided to remove the intrapped air. These airvents are very costly in construction and viable for damages by cowherd boys, and so costly in maintainance too, because these airvents are constructed above grount level. The object of the invention is to devise a device which is quite cheap as well as maintance free, very simile to install on site and which dose not entail any construction work. As per this invention the entrapped air is routed through a parallel pipe of small lenth connected to main pipe at the point of air accumulation by one end while othe end of this parallel pipe is connected to main pipe line at adjoining point on down-stream side and buried underground.
