Application 670/MUM/2004 published 2006-06-16, filed 2004-06-18
The present invention relates to a modified arrangement of rollers of spinning machines and method for producing a yarn to improve the compactness and strength of yarn. The arrangement of the rollers comprises one roller inclined to the rotational axis of the other roller in said arrangement imparting a twist for aligning the fibres along the spinning axis while lighting/drafting the fibres thereby improving the compactness and strength of the spun yarn. The said arrangement of the rollers imparts a false twist in the ring spinning machine and real twist under tension in the yarn obtained from the open-end spinning machine.
