The present invention is a ‘Sliding Motion Sign Billboard’ comprising of :- A plurality of sliding units, each with two transparent acrylic rods (12) and one metal rod with rubber coating mounted vertically a certain distance apart from each other. An Aluminium plate (14) a central slot for a fluorescent tube-light (16), is mounted horizontally between the three rods through ball bearings (13). A flex sheet (15) is wrapped around the three rods so as to enclose the entire structure. The metal rod (5) is connected to a threaded horizontal bar (6) through a gear (4). The horizontal bar (6) is connected to a motor (8) through a threaded gear (7). In other embodiments, the shape of the billboard is curved or circular. Here, the metal rod (5) is connected to a threaded rod (10) through conical gears (9).
