SPRAYING MACHINE FOR COTTON SEED

The Miniature Spraying system for cottonseeds has been fabricated from mild steel frame and all other parts with stainless steel. The machine has a sturdy stand of mild steel with stainless steel top. A Hopper feeder which can accommodate about 25 kg cottonseeds are taken out from the bottom to an enclosed screw conveying system. A 3 HP geared motor is provided with a speed of 1440 rpm, the power of which is transmitted to the screw conveyor with an output of 38 rpm. Provision is there for an overhead tank which can store about 10 litres of water or any solution. The solution is sprayed on to the cottonseeds with the help of automizers which passing through the conveyor at two places with the help of a pump. Both the motor and pump are operated with the help of a panel. The treated seeds are collected through a drain in a bin. It is possible to adjust the speed of the screw conveyor and also the rate of spray. The unit can be used for spraying any seeds with chemicals, enzymes etc. Drawing: 00 Sheets. Total Pages: 00.
