A process of testing urea in milk comprising steps of putting a drop of indicator solution on a filter paper, putting an equal amount of milk to be tested on the indicator solution drop wherein the indicator solution comprises mixture of solution A and B in which solution A is prepared by dissolving P-Dimethylamino Benzaldehyde in a solvent followed by addition of Hydrochloric acid in the solution thus obtained -solution B is prepared by dissolving Methylred and B~ cresol green in the solvent.
