A display device (1) for indicating measured values of operational parameter of an automotive vehicle (not shown) and comprising a graduated dial (2) graduated in terms of the respective values to be indicated. (3) is a transparent material cover provided over the dial and (4) is a laser source disposed on the dial and mounted on the rotor (5) of an analogue measuring instrument (not shown) of the vehicle. The rotor is disposed in a hole (2c) in the dial and provided with a non-transparent material closure (6) which is formed with a narrow slit (6a).
