An improved tamper proof strap seal for locking the polythene/canvass bags and drums with narrow hole locking clamp and other similar closure systems comprising; a locking head at one end, a tail at the other end and a long flat strap body there between; said strap body having plurality of locking teeth on both major surfaces; wherein said locking head includes a wall defining a first aperture, a second aperture, and a strap passageway extending there between in a direction substantially perpendicular to said strap body; a block surface extending into said passageway from the top of the wall and another block surface extending into said passageway from the bottom of the wall; said block surfaces providing locking engagement with the teeth of said strap body upon attempted withdrawal of said strap body in direction opposite to the direction of insertion of the strap.
