The present invention is directed to the novel synthesis 4-substituted pyrrole derivatives. More specifically the present invention is directed to a one pot synthesis of N-methyl-3-N'-(1-triazolyl)-4-substituted pyrroles, which involves the microwave irradiation of N-methyl-3-amino-4-substituted pyrroles (II) with diformyl hydrazide (III) under solvent free conditions.
