SUDIN BI-DIRECTIONAL WEFT INSERTION SYSTEM ON THE AIR JET LOOM.
Application 198/BOM/1999 published 2006-05-26, filed 1999-03-19
One of the most remarkable aspects of weaving has been the rapid evolution of the adoption of globally of air jet weaving. Even though it is application limited technology count wise, being used for cotton and blended polyester, now even feasible for weaving of more sophisticated and complex yarns. Presently the air jet weaving machines have their weft insertion system only on one side of the loom. By introduction two nozzles for weft insertion in between the two extremities of the loom, the problem relating to the loss of air velocity, the increased distance of travel, single color weft yarn buckling, air consumption and air loss can be over come which are encountered in the existing loom. The basic design modifications for the above cause have been clearly drafted with respect to the dimensions of the air jet loom. Drawing: 04 Sheets. Total Pages: 15. Fig. Nil
