. A BIOSENSOR DEVICE FOR FLOW INJECTION ANALYSIS USING IMMOBILIZED ENZYME.

Application 557/DEL/2004 published 2006-05-26, filed 2004-03-22
A biosensor device for flow injection analysis using immobilized enzyme comprising: a dialyzing unit (4), two immobilized enzyme columns (7a&b), T -connectors (5 a&b), a flow cell (9), a dissolved oxygen electrode (6), solenoid valves (8a,b&c), carrier buffer (2), a collecting chamber (3), a data acquisition and analysis system (12) and an electronic control circuit (11) for sampling and conveying the sample through the system at a controlled flow rate at programmable intervals, which performs measurement by employing an amperometric detector (13) with a potentiostat and two peristaltic pumps (1 a&b) for precise sampling of a known volume of sample (10) drawn from the process line and features multipoint online calibration, with measurement parameters being programmable to accommodate analysis of different analytes by the biosensor.
