The invention relates to an electric installation apparatus comprising a housing formed with a mounting section having a bar slidably supported thereon. The bar comprises a spring member cooperating with a latching device on the side of the housing in order to define at least one lacking position. The spring member consists of two spring ribs spaced apart in parallel and extending in a sliding direction of the bar, which are fixed at both respective and portions thereof to the bar and form at center portions thereof an undercut, respectively, engaging with a tappet of the latching device arranged between the spring ribs.
