MAGNETIC RESONANCE IMAGING APPARATUS AND CENTRAL FREQUENCY ESTIMATING METHOD
Application 1713/DEL/2004 published 2006-08-18, filed 2004-09-10
- For the purpose of reducing time taken to obtain a central frequency for each slice when a plurality of slices corresponding to an imaged region exist, as compared with the time taken to measure the central frequency for every slice, and ensuring accuracy of the obtained central frequency at a certain level, slice groups (Gj) are defined in a subject in a static magnetic field by a gradient coil section so that each slice group (Gj) contains a plurality of slices (Si) parallel to one another; central frequencies of slices to be measured (slices S2, S6 and S9) contained in the slice groups (Gj) are actually measured using an RF coil section(180a, 180b); and each of the central frequencies actually obtained by the measurement is defined as the central frequencies for slices other than the measured slice in the slice group in which the measured sliced is contained
