A circulating hot fluid type apparatus using balloon catheter for treatment of dysfunctional Uterine bleeding is described. In the currently available apparatus, the dissolved air from the fluid gets released due to heating and enters, along with the fluid, into the balloon of the catheter. The air bubble patch formed in balloon hinders transmission of heat to the uterus walls. To avoid this a novel device is described which substantially traps the air bubbles before they reach the balloon. The device installed in fluid line, two ports for inlet and outlet of fluid and third vertically pointing port for trapping the air bubbles. Drawing: 01 Sheet. Total Pages: 09
