- This invention relates to a process for the preparation of a latex carbon black master batch comprising in the steps of : (a) preparing a carbon black water slurry by adding fluffy carbon black to water and stirring, (b) adding latex to the slurry with continuous stirring, (c) allowing the latex to coagulate therein to obtain the master batch, (d) drying the master batch, Further, the invention is related to a rubber compound applicable to both tyre and non tyre application, with latex carbon black master batch, comprising of 100 parts of natural rubber or synthetic rubber or blend of two, doses of latex carbon black master batch equivalent carbon black up to 60 parts, 3-15 parts aromatic oil as processing aid, 2-7 parts zinc oxide, 1-4 parts of stearic acid, 1.5-5 parts of protective agents including waxes, 1-4 parts of sulfur and 1-1.25 parts of accelerators.
