A fuel saving cooking utensil comprising of a number of circular concentric “V” shaped grooves at its bottom or comprising of a number of radial fins firmly fixed at its bottom, the arrangement being such that when an open or closed type this modified cooking utensil is placed on a stove, time for cooking or heating will be reduced considerably due to more heating surface area at its bottom and ultimately there will be huge saving of fuel energy during heating as well as cooking processes.
