The present invention relates to a method and device for configuring data in the communication device, the method comprises the steps of : a) the configuring data convergence unit filtrates the data of the current unit in order to obtain the data configured to each configuring data distribution unit; b) the configuring data convergence unit sends said obtained data to each corresponding configuring data distribution unit; c) the configuring data distribution unit makes the received data in effect at the current distribution unit. Configuring data device of this invention comprises of configuring data convergence unit and configuring data distribution unit, the configuring data convergence includes filtrating sub-module, the configuring data distribution unit includes adapting sub-module. Configuring data in this invention by filtrating and adapting procession, a little change for existing system, achieved simply and flexibley, greatly reduces configuring data redundancy. (FIG.1)
