[Solving Means] A connecting tube 17 is extended inside an air cleaner case 51, an air cleaner element 52 is directly supported by the connecting tube 17, the body of a chamber 74 provided with an opening 77 at the end is integrally protruded from the inner wall of the air cleaner case 51, a chamber lid 76 is provided to the opening 77 of the body of the chamber 74, as a result, a subchamber 54 is formed, a projection 81 protruded toward the connecting tube 17 and provided with a communicating passage 78 communicating with the subchamber 54 and the connecting tube 17 is provided to the chamber lid 76 and the projection 81 is directly coupled to an extended part 17a of the connecting tube 17. [Effect] The length of the connecting tube can be changed, a degree of freedom in setting an intake characteristic is increased, no partition wall is required, the subchamber is prevented from having an effect upon an intake characteristic, further, the structure of the air cleaner is simplified and the number of parts is reduced.
