Two top rollers are arranged to the delivery roller of a drafting unit for spinning machines, which two top rollers, together with the delivery roller, form two successive nipping lines. The ready-drafted fibre strand travels through a condensing zone between these nipping lines, in which condensing zone guiding walls are provided which guide the fibre strand. These guiding walls can be designed as a condenser having a V-shaped guiding groove. (FIG.1)
