SECTION OF AN ELECTRICAL HIGH-VOLTAGE SYSTEM
Application 1198/MAS/1999 published 2007-02-09, filed 1999-12-17
The section of an electrical high-voltage system has a gas-filled housing (1) of predominantlY SymmetriCal design. provided in the housing (1) are a conductor (3) extending along a plane of Symmetry (2) of the housing (1), and cooling means for producing a circulation flow which dissipates heat loss from the conductor (3). The cooling means contain two blowers(4, 5). The blowers (4, 5) are arranged in the interior of the housing (1) and designed in such a way that, during the operation of the system, two mirror- symmetrical circulation part flows (6, 7) are formed which are bounded by the plane of Symmetry (2). These circulation part flows are in each case guided without recirculation along a housing side wall (8, 9) from the top (10) of the housing or the bottom (11) of the housing to the bottom (11) of the housing or, respectivelY, the top (10) of the housing. BY this means, the heat losS is given up particularly effectively to the housing side walls (8, 9), and the conductor (3) can be loaded with very high operating currents.
