A filter mounting system(22) for use in a baghouse (20) having a tubesheet (84) with a plurality of openings (106). The filter mounting system (22) comprises filter media (162) and a tubular mounting collar (160) to mount the filter media relative to the tubesheet (84). The filter mounting system (22) also comprises a gasket (140) made of a flexible material. The gasket (140) has a tubesheet receiving portion (142) adn a filter receiving portion (144) extending from the tubesheet receinving portion. The mounting collar (160) of the filter mounting system (22) is adapted to be positioned within the filter receiving portion (142) of the gasket (140) and engage the filter receiving portion to effect sealing angagement of the tubesheet receiving portion (144) of the gasket (140) against a portion of the tubesheet (84) akjacent the opening (106). The filter receiving portion (142) extends from the tubesheet receiving protion (144) to force one portion of the gasket (160) into sealing engagement with a portion of the tubesheet (84) upon engagement with the mounting collar (160).
