Plug in type CTs are compact & single unit and require less space for installation. CTs are embedded in the moulding of an insulating material for 3 phases and neutral. Incoming and outgoing terminals are one continuous conducting strips. Plug in type CTs ensure proper connectivity with energy meter for accurate measurement without ay use of external wires / cables. Plug in type fixing of CTs eliminates possibility of breakage of wiring. Connections being plug in type, length of the secondary conductors of CTs are minimised & there is no load burden. Plug in type CTs have plugged connections, therefore, there are no loose connections. Secondary terminals of CTs are preconfigured in plug in type fashion. Thus, there is no possibility of reverse polarity connections. Plug in type CTs eliminate tampering.
