AN IMPROVED ANALYZER WITH A CHIP
Application IN/PCT/2000/00561 published 2006-02-10, filed 2000-11-27
The invention relates to an analyzer provided with a chip composed at least partially of a capillary and a photothermal conversion detector making a fluid sample and a fluid reagent flow through [a] the capillary and analyzing a predetermined component in the sample or a mixed fluid of the sample and the reagent. The analyzer comprising [a] the chip that is at lest partially made of organic polymer and provided with the capillary, and [a] the photothermal conversion detector irradiating the predetermined component with an excitation light and measuring a change in physical quantity due to the resulting partial change of temperature inside the capillary, wherein a member constituting the chip do not substantially cause a photothermal conversion effect by absorbing the excitation light.
