The present invention relates to an electrical device (1) to be used preferably in low-voltage systems. The device (1) comprises one or more fixed contacts (10a, 10b, 10c) that connect up to corresponding mobile contacts (20a, 20b, 20c) in the proximity of a breaking area. The fixed contacts (10a, 10b, 10c) are housed on at least one at least partially separable module (30) which is operatively connected to a structural part (5) of the device (1), so that the fixed contacts (10a, 10b, 10c) assume a pre-defined operative position in the proximity of which each of them connects up to a corresponding mobile contact (20a, 20b, 20c). The at least partially separable module (30) can be completely or partially moved away from the structural part (5) in order to carry out operations of inspection and maintenance on the fixed contacts, on the mobile contacts and possibly on other components located in the proximity of the breaking area.
