The present invention relates to a pen-type mouse apparatus for preventing an image sensor from being deteriorated in performance due to a scattered light incident on the image sensor, and for allowing a user to use a pen-type mouse at various angles to accommodate a use of the pen-type mouse. The pen-type mouse apparatus including: a mouse body; an auxiliary light source disposed within the mouse body to irradiate a light; an image sensor for sensing the irradiated light to convert the sensed light into an electric signal; a light diaphragm for filtering an unnecessary one of an reflected light reflected from a bottom surface; an imaging lens for accurately imaging the reflected light on the image sensor; and a light guide extended from the image sensor up to an end of the mouse body, for preventing a scattered light generated at the auxiliary light source from being introduced into the image sensor.
