The present invention relates to a synergistic herbal formulation useful is removing kidney stones. It is herbal drug which comprises the extract from plant of genus “sida” and rose water. If rose water may form new compound with extract of the plant sida or it would help the compounds ofeuird in “sida” to break the kidney stones. The drug can break a stone up to 14 mm within 7-8 days of treatment depending on physiology of the patient. The extract of leaves of “sida”, preferably sida ovata is made as follows- The leaves are crushed after adding little water and lightly compressed in a cotton cloth to squeeze the crushed leaves, so that liquid extract comes out and solid remains are left in cloth. To liquid extract, 10 ml of rose water {Dabur] is mixed and is 12 gms which can range to 20 gms with no side effect. The dose is given thrice a day with necessary guidelines. These should be 6 hour difference between doses. The precautions needed for the treatment are as necessary as the treatment and if not taken can extend the treatment term. The precautions can be summarized that one should avoid warm/hot things. The additional point which is very helpful in treatment is that the patient drink lots of water during treatment. Sugar rice and buttermilk are helpful.
