A Multiple knife cutting device (improved) with fulcrum (figure no.21), which is a modified embodiment of the Multiple knife cutting device the main invention pending in my application no.98-mas-2001, belongs to the field of manual multiple knife cutting devices. The modification finds solution to the problems of bending of knives on load, excessive cutting effort, interference of the knives with the guides when slicing whole potatoes, to make the device versatile and desirable to the consumer. The modifications comprise: splitting of knives into two groups (1,1a) located in alternate guide slots(9) in two levels, top and bottom; level difference being facilitated by offset fulcrum hole(4) of top knives. The result is `reduced cutting loads' due to a) doubling of space between adjacent knives, while maintaining the previous cut piece size and b) the two groups of knives cutting the potato in different locations, during simultaneous cutting. This enables whole potato slicing in addition to cutting greens, making the device versatile.
