The gadget named as âœTime programmable multi-controller clock for domestic and commercial application ✠is used to control 10 different switches, programmed with respect to daily routine time, in addition to display the routing time as a domestic clock. In this way the gadget can be used to provide up to 10 time programmable output ports which in turn are used to perform ON/OFF operation of domestic gadgets like washing machines, heaters, boilers, water pumps , fax machines etc. or alternatively to provide time programmable alarms for homes, schools offices etc. The device consists of a clock unit, memory unit, port selection unit and port drive unit in addition to a power supply and a console. The clock unit displays the routine time. It also provides activated. A memory initialization circuit is used to set all the memory locations to 1111. This is done to overcome any garbage valve of the RAM used. The port selection unit allows the selection of a particular port (to control a particular device) using switch â˜S4â™. The programming for time, for activating a particular device, is adjusted /selected using switches â˜S1â™, â˜S2â™, & â˜S3â™. Port drive unit activates the port selection unit & the data stored in memory unit using tri-state buffers. The power supply provides a regulated 5 volt DC supply to each unit & the control switches require while operating the device are made available on the console.
