A device for squeezing impregnating fluid out of a textile fabric web is described. The device consists of at least one fixed roll mounted in a machine frame such that it can rotate and at least one floating roll mounted axially parallel to the former in bearings arranged on the machine frame such that it can pivot and be pressed against a fixed roll. In order to create a squeezer with various possibilities of roll pairings, one floating roll is allocated to at least two fixed rolls in such a way that it can be paired alternatively with the one or the other fixed roll.
