The inventive carbon black is characterised by an STSA surface of between 20 and 180 m2/g, a 24M4-DBP-absorption of between 40 and 140 ml/100g, a specific BET surface of between 20 and 250 m2/g, in that it contains 0.01 to 20 wt % silicon in relation to its total weight and in tKDWLWKDVDUDWLRRIWDQ/0WDQ/60 greater than 3.37-0.0068•STSA.
