It is intended to provide aqueous solutions containing reduced coenzyme Q having improved stability to oxidation over a long time with the use of reduced coenzyme Q which is hydrophobic and liable to be oxidized (i.e., being unstable). Aqueous solutions containing reduced coenzyme Q which contain the reduced coenzyme Q together with an antioxidant such as vitamin C and/or a chelating agent such as ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid.
