An interlocking brake device for a small vehicle in which an interlocking brake manipulating cable is connected to an intermediate portion of an equalizer lever which forms a front wheel brake manipulating end portion at one end portion thereof and a rear wheel brake manipulating end portion at another end portion thereof, either one of the front brake cable and the rear brake cable is formed as one independent brake manipulating cable which is connected to an independent brake manipulating member, an engaging member which is capable of being engaged with and being disengaged from the equalizer lever is mounted on the independent brake manipulating cable.
