BEHAVIOR PROCESSOR SYSTEM AND METHOD
Application 153/KOLNP/2004 published 2006-04-14, filed 2004-02-05
A system for generating hardware elements from normally non-synthesizable code elements for placement on an FPGA device called a Behavior Processor (3110). The Behavior Processor (3110) executes in hardware those code constructs previously executed in software. When some condition is satisfied such as an if-then-else block that requires intervention by a workstation or a software model, the Behavior Processor (3110) uses an Xtrigger device to send a callback signal to the workstation for immediate response.
